Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fly ash addition on the value of compressive strength and water absorption value of paving blocks, with variations in fly ash addition of 0%,,10%,15,20%, and 25% of the total weight of paving blocks measuring 20 x 10 x 6 cm. The result is that the variation in fly ash addition with a value of 15% has the highest compressive strength value, which is 246,212 kg / cm² with a test age that has been converted to the age of 28 days. As for the water absorption test, the most stagnant water absorption value can be on the paving block with the addition of fly ash by 15%, yes it is with a water absorption value of 3,420%.
