ANALISIS GRADASI TERHADAP POROSITAS DAN KUAT TEKAN BETON

Most road construction utilizes flexible pavements and rigid pavements that are resistant to water. It is assumed that these asphalt mixes will decrease road deterioration as they absorb large amounts of water by draining it into the ground. The aim of this research is to examine the porosity and compressibility of concrete, and to see how the gradations of coarse aggregates affect concrete porosity and strength compression. The object or aggregate used was stone with gradations of 10 20 mm and 20 30 mm. Porosity and press endurance tests were conducted on 7-day old concrete. From the experimental data of concrete with 10-20 mm and 20-30 mm coarse aggregate gradation, the obtained compression resistance value is the highest in the 10-20 mm aggregate mixture which is 265.073 kg/cm2. The highest porosity occurred in the 20-30 mm aggregate mixture of 4.81%. From the results of the concrete analysis, it can be said that the concrete that is strong and maintains its porosity value is concrete with a mixture of 10-20 mm aggregate gradation.
