Studi Eksperimen Solar Warning LED (WL) Dengan Kapasitas Daya 20 Watt Peak (WP)

Abstract

At present, solar panels are one of the most popular and growing technologies, especially in the application of warning signs installed at road junctions. The warning light system (warning LED) uses solar energy consisting of a photovoltaic module (solar cell/solar panel) with a power capacity of 20 watts peak which will convert sunlight into electricity. So the solar warning LED (WL) experiment with a power capacity of 20 WP is an alternative to using solar energy. Based on the results of the experimental study of the solar cell warning LED using a power capacity of 20 WP, it can be concluded that the highest voltage obtained when using electricity from a solar panel is 18.1 V with the resulting amperage of 3.63 A and the time used to turn on the warning LED can be lit at night is 12 hours with the power of the lamp that can be lit if it is connected to the battery is 0.23 Watt every 1 hour. Then the power required to turn on the LED warning light for 12 hours is 2.76 Watt. After that, to turn on the LED warning light from morning to evening, the solar panel will again absorb energy from sunlight and turn it into electrical energy.
