Studi Eksperimental Pengaruh Debit Fluida Terhadap Performa Teknologi Aerator
Abstract
Microbubbles are micro-sized bubbles with a large surface area of gas and liquid, a slow rising speed, and a high solubility rate.
In this research, the author used a swirl-type microbubble generator. This microbubble generator creates negative pressure due to the swirl flow caused by the tangential inlet, eliminating the need for a compressor to supply air, with performance values for hydraulic power and pressure drop.
In this study, the author aimed to determine the effect of optimal water and air flow rates on the pressure drop and hydraulic power parameters produced by the swirl-type microbubble generator, which generates microbubbles. This can be used as a reference by researchers to solve problems of improving water quality. The method used is to vary the water and air flow rates as the main parameters. This process generates a differential pressure value passing through the microbubble generator. Once the differential pressure value is obtained, it will be used as the basis for calculating hydraulic power.
